"Your an Honorary Fairy now. Just friggin jump."

I did this for a monthly challenge on another site. Never done a fairy before so this was a nice change from the darker themes I've been doing lately.

About 30 hrs in Photoshop with a Wacom. I based the wings off of Divinci's Flying machine. I studied alot of artists and woman for this one but no direct references used for the painting itself. I used 3ds max for lighting tests just to get a good idea of the lighting I wanted.
